SUMA is pleased to offer a variety of publications, including a biweekly e-newsletter, a quarterly magazine, books, and more.
In 1996, as SUMA entered its 90th year of service, the association published "The Urban Age: Building A Place for Urban Government in Saskatchewan". The book celebrates the unique history of the developing role of urban governance in the provincial life.
A decade later, SUMA published "The New Urban Age: Bridging to Our Future as Urban Government in Saskatchewan”. This second publication spans the 10 years following the first book, shedding light on the evolution of urban government as the province entered the 21st century.
SUMA has worked to offer the books to its membership and the general public through Google Books. The scanned publications are available online by clicking the links below. Fully searchable, both "The Urban Age" and "The New Urban Age" will prove to be invaluable tools for those studying urban government and the history of the province.
